Klaus Jelitto Stokes Aster
The Aster ‘Klaus Jelitto Stoke’s’ Aster, Stokesia laevis, has leathery, strap-like leaves that form a clump at the base with large daisy-like flowers at the end of the stem. The powdery blue flowers bloom from July until frost have a plant height of 18” and a plant spread of 18-24”.‘Klaus Jelitto Stoke’s’ Aster will do best in a full sun area with morning shade and well-drained soil. To increase bloom time, deadhead after the first initial flowering.

The Hibiscus 'Torchy', is one of the darkest red flowering varieties in the Fleming series. It aslo has very thick ruffled flowers that make it somewhat unique. 'Torchy' stands 4' in height and has 3 lobed leaves that are light green and offer a very interesting contrast. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types. 'Torchy' looks wonderful with grasses, and as a background plant.

The Carefree Beauty rose has an open bloom and is light Rose Bengal color which ages lighter. The
pleasant fragrant flowers are followed by round-ovoid orange hips. the plant is vigorous, bushy, well-clothed with large, leathery dark green foliage. Carefree Beauty roses can be used wherever a small ever-blooming shrub is required or it lends itself for use as a bedding plant of for use in combination with other plants as herbaceous perennials or bedding plants. The plants are winter-hardy. It is a Dr Buck rose.

The
Coneflower Little Giant, 'Echinacea purpurea', is an easy to grow
flower that produces beautiful, huge clear pink daisy-like flowers.
It is named little because it is short and giant because of its huge
5” bloom size. Blooming from July to October and a major attractor
to butterflies and bees and deer resistant, it is a must for any
perennial gardens.
Echinacea is said to increase immune function, reduce the effects
of colds and flu’s, fights off viral, bacterial and fungal
infections and purify the blood and flush waste from the lymphatic

The
Grandiflora Hydrangea, Hydrangea paniculata, is a common American
garden plant and highly valued for its vigor and bloom
dependability. Sterile flowers appear in August and remain on the
plant until the first hard frost.
The large conical shaped white flower heads turn to pink in the
fall with gray-green leaves. Sent to America from Japan in 1861,
this continues to be one of the best loved varieties. The blooms can
easily be used for drying. 6+ foot height at

The Lady Fern or Red Stem fern has a feathery
textured frond with a red stem. It is a slow spreading fern, which
will make a nice mass in a few years. The Southern Lady fern thrives
in the garden, given any reasonably good soil and will make a dense
stand over time. It prefers to have it's feet wet.
This plant is used for container plantings, borders, foundation
planting, massing and groundcover. The Southern Lady fern is
perennial and is deciduous. This very versatile plant goes well with
evergreen shrubs and Hostas. |

The Hibiscus 'Blue River II', Hibiscus moscheutos, is the first true, original, large, pure white flowering Hibiscus. It has a plant height of 4-5' and wonderful 10" blooms.The light green leaves make a wonderful contrast. It should not be missed. 'Blue River II' prefers moist to wet soil conditions and loves the heat of summer.
